We are a traditional Car Boot, and don't have market traders, therefore the goods brought onto the site, rather then binned, are helping reduce the amount sent to Marstonvale Landfill site, this is helping increase both the Mid Bedfordshire District Council and Bedfordshire County Council recycling rates.

There are not many true re-use sites in the UK, as well as Bedfordshire, and our site is at no extra cost to Mid Bedfordshire Council tax Payers, as it is a private site.

Mid Beds can increase it’s current recycling rate by supporting this unique initiative, leading the way forward for other local authorities to follow. Our re-use site is helping work towards UK government and EU Commission waste directive strategies.
